So you want volunteer emergency response training in Santa Clara County?  You’ve come to the right place!  Scroll down for our up-to-date list of local academies.

that fits your needs.

This page is regularly updated with Basic CERT Academies throughout Santa Clara County.  Some are virtual with an in-person skills day only, some are all in-person, and all are around 25 hours total.  Chances are high that your preferred training method is available nearby.  Prices and dates vary by training agency (see links below).  CERT training is comprised of a curriculum established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). So, regardless of where you take your training, your certification will be recognized by other neighboring CERT organizations if you participated in the entire academy and graduated.  Upon graduation, you will reach out to your local CERT group to join the team in your neighborhood.
